As its name implies, Hekasoft Backup & Restore allows you to create a backup file of your web browser's profile so you can restore it anytime. This is useful, for example, when you purchase a new computer and want to have all the settings of the old machine's browser into the new one's. Also, the program lets you export the settings from, say, Google Chrome, into another browser, say, Mozilla Firefox.
The program is really easy to use. You only need to select the browser whose profile you want to backup, and click on the Start button. The program will ask you to select the folder where you want to store the backup file, and once selected, it will start the backup process. This may take a while depending on the amount of data to be copied.
Once the process is finished, you can use the program to restore the backup file into a new browser. As i said earlier, this may or may not be the same type of browser as the one you backed up. The program has an extensive browser list that includes all the most common names such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, as well as some less known such as Basilisk, Lunascape, Vivaldi, an even Tor browser. Thus, you may use multiple browsers, all of them with the same settings.
The program is free to download and use, so there is no pretext for not giving it a try.
